Stephen Masciola is the Founder and CEO of Pantheon Capital Funding, LLC and Pantheon Capital Partners, LLC. Stephen is a 35-year real estate investor, lender and operator. Steve has been responsible for the acquisition, repositioning and development of more than two million square feet of residential, retail and mixed-use properties in several United States markets. Stephen utilizes a fundamental understanding of the interlocked components of the real estate investment process including opportunity analysis, feasibility and due-diligence, entitlement, financing, and asset disposition. He has negotiated standard and complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, partnerships, site development agreements, ground leases, financial instruments, build-to suit agreements and numerous other project construction and leasing agreements. First entering the commercial real estate business in the early 1990s, Stephen uses his decades of experience as a real estate owner, operator and mezzanine debt provider to identify investment opportunities across several product types. While Stephen has typically concentrated in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area, he has also acquired assets in the Northeast, Southeast and Southwestern regions of the US. Stephen has successfully purchased and divested from positions in commercial debt and membership interests. Distressed asset acquisitions have been a forte for Pantheon and Stephen. He resides with is wife in Bethesda, Maryland and splits his time between Washington DC, the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Snowmass, Colorado. He is an enthusiastic traveler, fly fisherman and has four Labrador retrievers.
Zach Fishman is a Principal of Pantheon Capital Funding, LLC and a Principal of Pantheon Capital Partners, LLC and Bentridge Capital, LLC. Zach has thirteen years of experience as an owner, investor, lender, operator and manager of commercial real estate. Zach previously served as a real estate attorney and relies on these skills to oversee the legal process and negotiate all agreements ancillary to Pantheon’s investments. Zach’s other primary area of responsibility is executing investment activity, including deal structuring, due diligence and asset management. He also serves as principal and asset manager of Diversified Realty Ventures, a privately held real estate investment company based in Bethesda, Maryland. Zach has been instrumental in the acquisition, development, management and disposition of approximately 1.5 million square feet of multifamily, office, retail, flex and industrial properties, as well as the execution and underwriting of first trust and mezzanine financings. In the aggregate, Zach has been responsible for over $550 million of transactional volume. Zach graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and earned a Juris Doctorate from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and two daughters.
Amy J. LeMieux, Operations Principal, is a seasoned real estate finance executive with over 30 years in delivering exceptional client management, financial management oversight and services, and contract negotiations. As a Principal, Amy is involved in every facet of the organization, but is primarily responsible for the oversight and management of loan activity from origination to servicing and financial reporting. In the start-up years at Pantheon, she cultivated and maintained a client base while ensuring securing and delivering the appropriate financing that met the project and client needs. While Pantheon has continued to grow and evolve over the years, Amy remains a constant driver within the organization, remaining the primary point of contact for external stakeholders where that be borrowers, lenders, title companies, investors and attorneys. A highlight of her career was the recent implementation of an exciting new investor platform through Juniper Square that will enable investors to access historical, current and prospective information about their investments. Amy, a graduate of Sweet Briar College in Virginia, began her career in the Washington DC area in 1996 as an Affinity Program Manager for MBNA America, servicing many of MBNA’s top 100 affinity credit card programs.
Karyn Davies Mitchell serves as Controller for Pantheon and its related entities. She brings decades of experience in accounting, budgeting and analysis, cash flow forecasting, investments and corporate administration. Karyn manages all aspects of the firm’s accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, vendor contract negotiations, settlement journals, bank reconciliations and financial reporting. She also directs year-end audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with both internal and external reporting standards. Karyn earned her Bachelor of Arts from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She lives in South Kensington, Maryland with her husband, two daughters, a Goldendoodle and a Tortoiseshell cat.
